"A Person Under a Train"

Did I mention that the weather is perfect?

I would not really be certain that we are in London except that on the way to Oxford Circle, the tube service was disrupted. The announcer said it was because there was "a person under a train". How inconsiderate.

In fact, the weather was so divine that we decided to go for a three hour bike ride. Jumped on some beach cruisers and made our way through the green spaces in central London.

We got the lowdown on all the royal residences and the royal crest was even flying over Buckingham so we knew the Queen was home. Knocked on the door, but got no answer. (Maybe she was in the loo.) There are so many people on bikes that it got a little congested at times. We had to remind ourselves to stay on the left, stay on the left, stay on the left... And I'm not exaggerating about the weather. Here is a photo of us at St. James Park.

The boys had a great time and behaved fairly well. They did pull an Ace Ventura and bounced themselves around as if they were being jarred on a really rough road. They got a couple strange looks as they were on a smooth asphalt path.

My dad insisted that we get a proper Cornish pasty, so we ended the day grabbing one outside of Liverpool Station and eating it as we strolled around Spital Fields. The boys did force me to take their photo in front of a VERY inappropriately named pub and demanded I post it to the blog. I'll just leave you with a photo of them eating the pasties....
